Release Notes for Wed, Sept 14th 2011.

Hello all,

Today’s release features a large number of stability improvements, and minor bug fixes, noteably:

Bug Fixes

  • Resolved an issue preventing markdown preview of new threads
  • Resolved a series of issues revolving around datetime, removed complicated date picker in favor of a simple text parser.
  • Resolved some issues with delete / updating labs, resources, assignments
  • Resolved some minor cosmetic issues including a lack of loading spinners in some panels
  • Resolved a 404 issue on exporting gradebook as CSV

    Features

    • Minor facelift of buttons / input fields around the site - most of which are visible only to users with WebKit based browsers (Chrome/Safari), Firefox 4.0 or later, and Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 or later (for everything but animations)

      We are still working though our outstanding issue list, and hoping to clear the bulk of them out in the coming days. As always, thanks for your understanding as we shake these bugs out. Ideally we will start in on new features next week.
